Amazing Fantasy 15
Issue no 15 of Amazing Fantasy, marks the first appearance of Spiderman in a comicbook, this issue originates from 1962 when Captain America was king of the comic book world. At first Marvel rejected the Spider-man idea as being too much like “Captain America with cobwebs”, however, the seniors at Marvel had enough vision to know the idea was sound and it was only a matter of time before Spider-man squashed Captain America as the Mr. Universe of comic books!
